The Marcus S. Zuber Papers consist of a single box of personal and professional materials documenting Zuber’s career in corn breeding research. The collection is composed primarily of scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, certificates, photographs, news releases, and correspondence. It also includes diplomas representing Zuber’s academic achievements—a B.S. from South Dakota State College, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Iowa State College, and an honorary degree from South Dakota State University—as well as a citation from the Army Service Forces for the Army Commendation Ribbon.
