The South Dakota Social Science Association was composed of professional sociologists and students from colleges and universities across the state. The organization sponsored annual meetings, paper competitions, award ceremonies, and published an academic journal. The South Dakota Social Science Association Records document the organization’s annual meetings from the late 1930s through the 1970s.
