- Named in honor of former University President Sherwood Berg, Berg Agricultural Hall houses the offices of the Dean of Agriculture, the Director of the Cooperative Extension Service, and the Director of the Agricultural Experiment Station. State 4-H offices are located here as well as Biology laboratories and classrooms. Berg became the first graduate of SDSU to be named president, taking office in 1975. He served as president until 1984. Berg Agricultural Hall was built in 1953 at a cost of $980,000.
