Hon. H.L. Loucks,

Watertown, S. D.

Dear Friend:

I will be in Sioux Falls next Tuesday morning; expect to remain there several days. I will be glad to pay all your expenses if you will come down and see me.

Since your letter of May 15 was written, you have received my letter with the return of the manuscript. I kept a copy of your article on money because it was full of important facts which I wish to use. When I get home, am going to copy it again, and if you come down and look it over with me, I am going to see if I can’t sell it to Pearson’s.

There is a great movement going on in North Dakota, and I think it is best to get in touch with it.

I will not have time to call at East Van Buren Street, but if you come down next week, we will talk all these matters over and see if we cannot arrange a line of action.

Yours truly,

R. F. Pettigrew
