Hugh Warren was born December 3, 1922 in Huron, SD, to Charles Parker and Angie Warren. Hugh attended South Dakota State College in Brookings, and the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, where he majored in History. His college years were interrupted by four years of service in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during WW II. While serving in the Army, Hugh went to Radio Repair School with overseas service to England, France and Germany. After the war Hugh attended library school at the University of California at Berkeley.Hugh married his wife Lois married on August 11, 1951. After working in Chicago at the Chicago Public Library and in Midland, Michigan, at the Dow Memorial Library, Hugh was employed at the St. Joseph County Public Library as Personnel Services Administrator from 1963 until his retirement in 1988. He and Lois lived in South Bend for more than 40 years. Hugh was very active in the South Bend Lions Club and served as its president for a term. On April 11, 2015, Hugh Parker Warren (92) died in South Bend, Indiana.
Grace Wangberg was born in Woonsocket, South Dakota, on June 5th, 1927. She graduated from South Dakota State College in 1950 with a B.S. degree. She married John S. Wangberg of Egan in 1953. She was a teacher of home economics at Artesian high school in the early 80’s. She and her husband retired from their jobs in 1997.
Grace Wangberg had two sons Michael and Timothy and one daughter Silvana.
Walters, William Hayes 1877-1962
William Hayes Walters was born December 8, 1877 in Laverne, Minnesota to Solomon and Mathilda Walters. He attended school in Bruce, South Dakota and graduated from South Dakota Agricultural College in 1897. William married Grace Jennie Durland in 1904. They had seven children; Maxine, Robert, Leslie, Hubert, Helen, Curtis, and Wilma. William was a self-employed real estate agent in Brookings, South Dakota. William died March 18, 1962. Grace died on March 3, 1978.

Took home a first-place finish in the Amateur Division at 141 pounds at the Kaufmann/Brand Open ... Compiled a 4-0 record, winning three matches by decision and one by fall ... Defeated Bart Reiter, unattached from the University of Minnesota, 3-2 in the championship match (11/21) ... Went 3-2 at the Tournament of Champions in Reno, Nev. (12/20) ...
